A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER || Hello lovely fashionistas! We're a small but mighty team here at My Fashion Trunk, and we're dedicated to making your shopping experience as fabulous as possible. While we may not have the resources of a multi-million dollar company (yet!), we promise to do our best to accommodate your returns. However, please bear in mind that we can't always act as fast or have the same return policies as the big retailers. Your patience and understanding mean the world to us as we grow.

Our hassle-free 30 day return policy offers you 30 days to try and think about the item(s) you ordered before you return it back to us for a full refund. Note that return shipping cost is not covered by My Fashion Trunk. You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs to return your order. Shipping costs for returns are non-refundable. You should highly consider using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance for all orders as we cannot refund items lost by the shipping carriers. 

To ship item(s) back to My Fashion Trunk within 30 days of receiving your order please:

  1. Make sure the order your are requesting a refund for is within 30 days of having received your order.

  2. Email with subject line RETURN and order # in subject line. Example: RETURN order#1234

  3. Include the item(s) you wish to return in the email with reasons on why you wish to return. Example: Pistola jeans - too small.

  4. Once you receive a return confirmation email from us, you can send your items back for a refund.

  5. Returns could take up to 10 days to process once it reaches our facility.  Once your return is processed and your refund is issued, you will receive a refund confirmation email. Refunds can take several business days to reflect on your credit card account depending on your financial institution.

IMPORTANT: To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused and in the exact same condition that you received it in. This means, clothing must not be worn, altered, damaged, washed or free of any stains, odours, self-tanner, make-up, pet hairs or distinct smells including deodorant/perfume. Original tags must still be attached. For home/beauty/skin care products, item(s) must be intact and in its original packaging. Any item not in its original condition, that is damaged/altered as mentioned above for reasons not due to our error, will not be refunded.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)  

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

First check again with your financial institution. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Return Policy

We will accept returns within 30 days for a full refund for items that are regular priced or discounted less than 40% off. Please feel free to reach out to our customer service team should you have any concerns around getting your return product back to us, we will be happy to help.


Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, undamaged, unused, and with all original tags attached. Please be careful of makeup or deodorant rubbing off on the garment. We will not accept any item that looks worn/used.



Shipping charges are not refundable.


If you return more than $3000 in a 12 month period you may be subject to a modified return policy. We will contact you if you are subject to the modified policy.
